A post for Europeans, or anyone who likes the idea of flying to Europe to play in some of the coolest live tournaments around in 2013. I have covered the prestigious World Series Of Poker Europe, the fun Grand Series of Poker and the Luxurious Knights Of Prague event here.
Live Poker Tournaments In Europe – The WSOPE
The World Series Europe gives away those coveted bracelets, which ensures that the big names of poker fly in from all over the world to play in the events. Held just outside of Paris, France, there is a schedule of 7 different events with buy-ins ranging from €1100 to €10450 the preliminary games start on October the 12th and the Main Event on the 19th.
There are several poker sites offering qualifier games including the big guns like PokerStars. The one which really caught my eye is 888 Poker, who have 3-levels of sub-qualifiers starting at just $1.10c (rebuy) or $5.50c. These feed in to a $530 super-satellite which runs every second Sunday.
You’ll find the games at 888 super-soft, and can even grab $8 free in cash and tournament tokens to check out the site with no strings attached (you can still get your 100% initial deposit bonus at any time you choose to deposit). Check out the World Series Europe Qualifiers At 888 Poker Now!
Live Poker Tournaments In Europe – The Grand Series Of Poker Prague
Prague is a great destination all year round, just as the rest of Europe starts to wind down for the winter, the Czech capital just keeps on partying. Winning the OnGame-sponsored Grand Series of Poker event would, of course, make that feeling any better.
The Grand Series of Poker is a mix of online tournaments and live games, which run throughout the year. Currently in season 4, the next stop is from the 11th to 15th of December and costs $1500 to enter.
You can qualify online at Red Kings Poker, who offer a $3000 prize package which includes $1000 for Hotel and hospitality and $500 for travel / spending. There are tons of satellites running at many different buy-in levels (or you can go direct to the supersatellite for $212).
Red Kings give you a choice of 6 welcome bonuses + another $300 in bonus money the first time you get dealt the two red kings in a real money cash game.
Live Poker Tournaments In Europe – 888 Poker’s Knights Of Prague
I really should have put this one first on the list, since it kicks off just a few days before the GSOP event in the same city. The Knights of Prague is billed as a luxury break, and wins from the 6th to the 9th of December 2013. The tournament itself costs €330 to enter, with $500 for travel, hotel and VIP party invitation all included.
Qualifiers run every other Saturday, you can either buy-in for $200, or win your seat in one of the regular sub-qualifiers.
This game will be streamed live on 888 TV – so as well as a fun trip and big prize pool, you could be on your way to becoming the next poker celebrity!!
